This Housefly’s Life Is In Your Hands: A Choose Your Own Ending Poem

Housefly

Back by popular demand and/or excess supply: Another “choose your own ending” poem!

This Housefly’s Life Is In Your Hands
a choose your own ending poem

With flies, there’re two things you can do:
Swat, swat, swat or shoo, shoo, shoo.
And now I give the choice to you:

“TAKE THAT, YOU UGLY FLY … NOW DIE!”

–OR–

“TRY THE WINDOW, LITTLE GUY … BYE!”

You decide:
How should it end?

As I’m not there in the flies eye, I like to give the “LITTLE GUY” the benefit of the doubt–thanks for your fun ditty Ed.

Unless I’m in danger (or hungry enough to eat what I kill), I always opt for the window!
